(…) Festival d’Annecy, Festival de Torroella de Montgri…) and Latin America.
Even if the repertoire of the late 19th and early 20th centuries has a dominant place in her career, she remains extremely attached to Spanish music, which she defends with great enthusiasm. Her recordings for Mandala (Harmonia Mundi) and Vde-Gallo pay tribute to this commitment and have received critical acclaim. A passionate chamber musician, Ester Pineda has recorded Joaquín Turina’s complete works for violin and piano with violinists Clara Bonaldi and Ariane Granjon, as well as the album Résonances, dedicated to Narcís Bonet and Frederic Mompou (Vde-Gallo 2022).
Her commitment to pedagogy (she is a piano teacher at the conservatoire Jean-Philippe in Paris and a teaching tutor at the Conservatoire Superieur de Musique de Paris, CNSMDP) led her to become involved in research into the neuropsychology of music. PhD in systematic musicology, her research focuses on cognitive processes linked to inner audition in the context of learning and performance. In addition to several scientific articles, she is also the author of Le corps musicien : vers une pédagogie sensorielle de l’interprétation pianistique (Éd. Delatour) and Musique et Transmission à la lumière des sciences cognitives (Éd. EAC, 2025).
